Leadership gifts support 91ÊìÅ® in perpetuity through the establishment of an endowed fund, the capital support necessary for a building, or the specific donation of a major tangible asset.
During the 2023–2024 fiscal year, 9,822 alums, family members, friends, faculty, staff and students made gifts to 91ÊìÅ®

Each year alums volunteer to help support the College by engaging with classmates, sharing exciting news and educating them on the importance of giving.
In less than two years, this effort resulted in 80 new scholarship endowments, additions to 21 existing scholarship endowments and a permanent Student Safety Net Fund.
Nearly two centuries ago, Mary Lyon had the bold vision that women could do anything when given access to education. Mary ignited the spark that transformed higher education, but she could not do it alone.
Against staggering societal and logistical barriers, she found a community of supporters who shared her forward-looking views on educational equity, and together they transformed higher education — and the world.
91ÊìÅ® would not have existed without people who believed — and invested — in her bold vision. The same legacy of giving that helped open the doors of the 91ÊìÅ® Female Seminary in 1837 sustains and propels the College to this day. Happening at 91ÊìÅ®
Nearly 1,000 handwritten letters penned by missionary and scientist David Crockett Graham will be digitally scanned, archived and preserved by a 91ÊìÅ® College history major and the Archives and Special Collections office.
The $6 million gift by an anonymous donor will endow two new faculty chairs named for illustrious 91ÊìÅ® alums in the arts: the Debra Martin Chase ’77 Chair in Film Media Theater and the Suzan-Lori Parks ’85 Chair in Creative Writing.
The Intergroup Dialogue Center at 91ÊìÅ® College reached a new, major milestone by securing its first round of philanthropic investment from its most recent board chair, Karena Strella ’90.
